We are providing the Live Updates all series for the @AnteUpMagazine Poker Tour World Championships at Thunder Valley Casino in northern California, including this weekend's $150,000 guaranteed monolith and next weekend's $500,000 guaranteed World Championships Main Event.

John Michael's @WSOP Main Event

@PokerMikeIV is here for the Main Event, and we're thrilled to be able to be along with him as he plays and experiences all the WSOP has to offer. 

John Michael McCauley IV - known to many of the Hold'em Radio faithful as 'BrokePoor' is seated in the Main Event, and he drew two friends of ours to his immediate left. First is Ken Jorgensen - 6th in the first-ever WPT Main Event at Thunder Valley in northern California. 

Next to Ken is someone many of you recognize from EPSN's WSOP coverage last year, the 3rd place finisher in the Main Event, Neil Blumenfield. "So, we hear you're a friend of Dan's, you can expect unrelentless abuse all day long," Neil laughed as Joh Michael took his seat midway through today's first two-hour-long level.

Season II Goes Platinum Now

Qualifier Freerolls take place at least twice a week – three times a week some months – for Platinum VIP Members to earn their way into Majors and Mini-Majors.

The Mini-Majors monthly offer prizes like a pair of Blue Shark Optics eyewear for one month each quarter, and the other month each quarter is your own entry for up to $425 in buy-ins for a regional tournament near you, such as HPT Main Event Satellites, World Series Circuit ring events, or a local event at your home poker room.

There will also be regular events with prizes from sponsors, special Platinum-VIP-Only merchandise available and much more as Season II goes along.
