Dave's Spring Break Tourneys

All Holdem Radio VIP Members, join us Saturday, March 28 for the Dave's Spring Break tourneys, hosted by our own Dave-cc7. This fun tournament features cash and prizes and a double-elimination format.

You can win cash, as Dave has already donated $50 to the prize pool (donations via PayPal welcome from others) or a host of prizes donated by the World Poker Tour from their recent stops at Bay 101 and Thunder Valley.

Here are some of the WPT-donated prizes up for grabs in the tournament(s) taking place starting at 7pmPST/10pmEST.

The WPT has added Card Protectors (Top center) Decks of playing cards from the Bay 101 $7500 buyin Shooting Star, 50 pro's featured plus our own Buffet Brother, Greg zarrdogg White is one of the Jokers (left) WPT Drawstring Bags (right) and ClubWPT Plastic drinking mugs (above).

The first tourney is a standard-for-us 3000 chip, 5-minute levels tourney, with the top-20-percent finishing "in the money," receiving cash and prizes for their efforts.

But wait, stick around if you don't end up "in the money" as there is a "second chance" tournament for everyone eliminated before the cash and prizes are awarded. There's cash and prizes for the second-chance tourney as well.

Prize pools can't be announced until the late -registration-period ends and we know the size of the field, just the same as any live tourney you've ever played. If you want to donate to the prize pool, send your donation via PayPal to 'info@holdemradio.com' as "I'm Sending Money to Family or Friends," so there's no 3% service charge deducted. Please put in notes how you want your donation used in the prize pool if you have any ideas. No bounties for this tourney, please, let everyone have a chance at the offered-prizes.

March 2015 VIP Leaderboard Challenge

Here is the monthly Holdem Radio VIP Leaderboard Challenge for the month of March 2015. We award points for finishes in our VIP Freerolls each month. The top-four finishers (in bold below) qualified for our year end Tournament of Champions with an estimaed $5,000 in prizes including a custom built poker table from Off Tilt Poker Tables.

Johnnyhaha wins the 2014 Tournament of Champions

Congratulations to John 'johnnyhaha' Riesterer, winner of the inaugural Holdem Radio VIP Tournament of Champions held on Saturday, Jan. 31. He earns a custom built poker table from Off Tilt Poker Tables for the win.

There were 27 VIP members who qualified for the Tournament of Champions based on their play in freerolls each month, earning points in those freerolls to earn a spot in the championship event.

Riesterer outlasted Robert 'Dipster7' Seip in an excellent heads-up match to earn the title. Seip earned a set of Blue Shark Optics glasses valued at up to $239 for his runner-up finish.
Everett 'Mav116644 HR' Agbigay picked up a $400 value Season 1/Season 2 Platinum VIP Membership.
